No problem- just use small disposable paper cups and popsicle sticks for a no-fuss alternative.
Tipsy Tequila Pops
Makes 6 Popsicles (3oz each)
Ingredients:
- 1 1/4 cups orange juice (10 oz)
- 1/2 cup tequila (4 oz)
- 1/4 cup lime juice (2 oz)
- 1 1/2 tablespoons elderflower liqueur (0.75 oz)
- 2 tablespoons agave syrup (1 oz)
- 2 tablespoons cold water (1 oz) (Helps pops to freeze harder)
- Thin lime slices, for garnish
Instructions:
- In a large measuring cup or bowl, whisk together the orange juice, tequila, lime juice, elderflower liqueur, agave, and water until well combined.
- Pour into popsicle molds (or paper cups), leaving a little space at the top for expansion.
- Freeze for 1 hour until partially set.
- Insert popsicle sticks and press a thin lime slice into each pop.
- Return to the freezer and freeze overnight, or at least 8 hours, until fully solid.
- Tip: To easily unmold, let the pops sit at room temperature for 1–2 minutes.
