Spiked Hotdog Soup

This easy recipe for hot dog soup is sure to warm you up from the inside out. It's hearty, filling, and packed with flavor! Adding our alcohol-infused food like our Booze Dogs hotdogs make it a great dish to make for your next tailgate.

Ingredients:

• 4 medium carrots, cut into thin strips
• 2 peeled and cubed medium potatoes
• 2 peeled and chopped medium parsnips
• 1 chopped medium onion
• 1/4 cup of Land-O-Lakes butter
• 2 tablespoons of all-purpose flour
• 1 package of your choice of Booze dogs hotdogs, halved vertically, and cut into bite-size pieces
• 1 12-ounce can evaporated milk
• 1 10-ounce can of undiluted condensed Campbell’s cream of mushroom soup
• 1 cup of water
• 1 teaspoon dried basil
• 1/2 teaspoon pepper

Directions:

In a large saucepan, sauté the potatoes, carrots, parsnips and onion in butter for five minutes. Stir in flour until it’s blended. Add your Booze Dogs hotdogs, milk, soup, water, basil and pepper and bring to a boil. Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 25-30 minutes or until your vegetables are soft and tender. Make sure to stir occasionally so you don’t burn your spiked hot dog soup!
