Gin Infused Hot Dog Soup

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. Booze Dogs’ Prime Ginister Hot Dogs (slice into 1-inch pieces)
  • 2 small carrots (finely chopped)
  • 1 celery, coarsely chopped
  • 1/2 medium head kohlrabi, thinly sliced (about 2 cups)
  • 4 cups water
  • 6 cups chicken broth
  • 1-1/2 cups conchiglie (shell) pasta
  • 1½ teaspoons salt
  • 2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/2 lemon in 2 wedges

Directions

  1. Pour water and chicken broth in a large pot and put it on medium fire
  2. Drop the Booze Dogs’ Prime Ginister Hot Dogs, thick lemon slices, carrots, celery, and kohlrabi into the pot
  3. Cook for 30 minutes more
  4. Stir in the pasta, salt and black pepper
  5. Cover and cook on high for 15-20 minutes or until pasta is tender
  6. Remove lemon wedges and serve
